Cook

Salary: £10.25 per hour
Permanent contract
22 hours per week

The role will predominantly work within Stepping Stones’ main office in Luton requiring the individual to plan, prepare and serve a range of healthy meals and snacks for children attending childcare and adults attending the centre for courses or events.

The individual will need experience in catering and/or food preparation and have a food hygiene level 2 certificate.

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of our diverse team, supporting the provision of services for vulnerable women and children. We are keen to develop this role and would welcome an individual willing to be creative and develop recipes and meal choices whilst keeping up to date with current healthy practices and cooking for children.

The role is hugely rewarding, but busy and demanding so you’ll need to be able to manage your time well, be able to keep a calm head under pressure and will already have a good knowledge of food preparation and kitchen cleanliness/hygiene processes.

To apply please complete an application form. CVs will not be accepted. Please click here for Job Description.

Closing date for applications: Friday 8th April 2022 at 5pm. Applications should be returned to:  hello@steppingstonesluton.org.uk
