Day 1 – 16 days of activism

Today marks the start of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.  Each year there are 1.3million female victims of domestic abuse across the UK.  Every month 7 women are killed by their current or former partner in England & Wales.  81% of the women we support at Stepping Stones have experienced domestic abuse.  So our message is very simple END VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS #16days #enddomesticabuse
