The Stepping Stones’ Trustee Board is responsible for oversight of the charity. This includes ensuring the charity is carrying out its purpose for the benefit of clients, complying with law and managing resources responsibly.

All our Trustees are volunteers and donate their time, expertise and knowledge freely. There are currently 6 Trustees. The Board are always keen to hear from passionate and skilled people who are interested in joining them to expand the range of skills on our Trustee Board. As a Trustee you will oversee the work of the charity, contributing to strategic direction, evaluating performance and risk, and ensuring that the charity effectively meets its charitable objectives.

We are particularly looking for people who are passionate about what we do and have knowledge of either accounting, strategy and marketing/fundraising. You do not need to have been a trustee before, but do need to be willing to share your knowledge and skills and actively contribute to a minimum of 6 meetings per year. You may also be asked to attend a small number of events, provide ad hoc advice or support specific projects/workgroups.
