Are you a qualified Early Years Practitioner looking for a very special setting to work in?
Stepping Stones is a Luton based charity supporting women and their children to create happier and healthier lives. We work with women who are affected by abuse or trauma, have involvement from Social Care or additional vulnerabilities such as substance misuse, risk of offending, or issues with mental health.
Our ‘good’ Ofsted rated childcare setting is at the heart of the organisation.
Not only does it enable our clients to know their children are somewhere safe and enjoyable when they’re seeing us, but it’s also available for clients at times of crisis, and takes a central role in the activity we deliver to support mums to be more confident, skilled parents.
If you’re looking to move to a setting where you can make a real difference to the lives of children and want to work for a lively organisation, where no two days are the same, we’d love to hear from you.
You must be Level 3 qualified with good knowledge of EYFS and experience of working in a childcare setting. Very importantly you must take a proactive approach to promoting and prioritising the welfare of children attending childcare at all times, working collaboratively with mums, team members and external organisations to do achieve this.
We know that our setting is a little different to others! And it’s important to us that we are right for you, just as much as you are right for us. If you’re interested in the role and would like to come and visit us before applying, or would like any further information please get in contact using the details below or via phone on 01582 457114.
