We have an exciting opportunity for you to be part of our Childcare Team in Luton.
Stepping Stones (Luton) is a charity working with vulnerable women with an onsite childcare facility to enable women to overcome childcare barriers to attending appointments.
The role will work within Stepping Stones’ Childcare in Luton requiring the individual to provide inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children attending Childcare. You will need to maintain a safe, stimulating and enjoyable environment and be alert to potential safeguarding concerns.
You will need to have at least a Level 2 early years education and childcare qualification, with the desire to work towards a Level 3 qualification.
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of our diverse team, supporting the provision of services for vulnerable women.
The role is hugely rewarding, but busy and demanding so you’ll need to be able to manage your time well, be able to keep a calm head under pressure.
This post is classed as having a high degree of contact with children or vulnerable adults and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. An enhanced disclosure will be sought through the Disclosure and Barring Service as part of Stepping Stones’ employment checks and personal interviews will be required as part of the employment process.
