Services 2018-05-16T00:02:27+00:00

Our services are free to charge for women living in Luton who have suffered abuse, are vulnerable due to substance misuse, offending, or mental health; or who have involvement with Children’s Social Care. We also run specific services for women living in Bedford and Central Bedfordshire.

Women can either self-refer/drop in or can be referred from a partner agency. If you want to make a referral or come and see us, more information about accessing our services can be found under ‘get support’.

Central Beds Stepping Out

Stepping Out was piloted in 2016/17 thanks to funding from Bedfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner. It is no longer running in 2017/18. However, we have successful in obtaining funding from the Government’s Tampon Tax to provide support to women affected by abuse and trauma in Central Bedfordshire. The new programme is expected to launch in Autumn 2017. Further information will be posted as plans progress.

One to One Support

One to one support forms the heart of services provided in Stepping Stones. Every woman accessing the organisation will be allocated a Women’s Support Practitioner, your main point of contact in the organisation.
