On Wednesday, 19 February, Stepping Stones Luton was honoured with a visit from Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire, Helen Nellis. The Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire is Her Majesty’s representative within the county.
The Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire, Helen Nellis said
“I was very inspired by the excellent work that is being carried out by Stepping Stones. By providing a professional, coherent and caring service, the organization is enabling women to come through tough times, gain in confidence, and begin to realize their potential. Stepping Stones is a prime example of how one person’s vision, determination and hard work can bring together a highly motivated team, and a range of partners, to transform lives on a significant scale”.
