Do you have a passion for food?

Set high standards in your kitchen and look forward to planning and preparing healthy meals on a budget?

We’re looking for someone to join us at Stepping Stones (Luton) on a part time basis to cook and oversee our kitchen, where we prepare healthy, varied food for children visiting us. And sometimes adults too!

It would be great if you have experience in a similar role and have knowledge of meeting food hygiene standards and adhering to kitchen related policy and processes. But most importantly you’ll be a great cook who can confidently plan and prepare meals to a budget. The high quality running of our kitchen is really important to us, so you’ll take a responsible and conscientious approach to keeping a clean and safe kitchen.

The role is 23.5 hours per week, working 9.30 am to 2pm for four days a week and 9.30 to 3pm on a Tuesday.  We offer a competitive 28 days holiday (pro rata for part time roles) and a lively, supportive working environment with a focus on professional development for our team members.
